The A7 features a hybrid autofocusing system, which boasts 117 phase-detection points and 25 contrast-detection points. The A7's autofocusing system is sensitive down to 0EV, which doesn't compare With the Sony A7 III you can quickly and easily jump from one shooting situation to the other without actually changing any settings! As for shooting flash, the Sony A7 III is in line with most other models. It has a 1/250th sync speed and can shoot with manual, TTL, and HSS.
The A6600 has a slightly faster maximum burst speed of 11fps, whereas the A7 III stops at 10fps. At 8fps, they both display a live view with blackouts. With the electronic shutter, the APS-C model goes up to 8fps whereas the A7 can use its full speed. Another small difference concerns the buffer capabilities.
